“Ne partez pas sans moi”: EuroAirport in the spirit of the Eurovision Song Contest 2025
EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg is setting a landmark, visible from afar, for the Eurovision Song Contest 2025: As of Monday, April 14, a new tower banner with the iconic slogan “Ne partez pas sans moi” - a tribute to Céline Dion - will adorn the Airport. The banner is one of many EuroAirport initiatives associated with the Eurovision Song Contest.
As a National Partner for the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest, EuroAirport is emphasising its local roots and ties to the region. This partnership is strengthened by a powerful message: “Ne partez pas sans moi”. The legendary title evokes memories of Switzerland’s victory at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1988 and symbolises the unifying power of music – across generations and borders. At the same time, it represents the Airport's core mission: to open up new horizons and ensure access to the region.
As of April 14, EuroAirport’s control tower will display the iconic slogan - a clear and distinctive symbol for the Airport’s role as a gateway to the world and major employment hub within the Trinational Region.
Connection and Entertainment at the Eurovision Village
During the ESC week, EuroAirport has its own stand in the Eurovision Village. Visitors can win great prizes and immerse themselves into the Airport’s world. Its presence in the Village takes EuroAirport directly to the fans and strengthens its connection to the ESC Community in an emotional and playful way.
Feel the ESC Spirit at the Airport
The ESC atmosphere will also be tangible at the Airport itself: visitors are introduced to the event by means of various visual and acoustic installations. In addition, further activities are planned, such as a karaoke contest hosted by Radio Energy at the Basel Exhibition Center (“Messe Basel”).
EuroAirport - a gateway to over 100 destinations
With the new tower banner, the Airport is now visually emphasising its role as the official gateway to the host city of Basel. With over 100 destinations across Europe and beyond, EuroAirport ensures air transportation connectivity for the Trinational Upper Rhine Region. “The Eurovision Song Contest connects people from all across Europe - just as our Airport”, explains Monica Linder-Guarnaccia, EuroAirport's Chief Marketing Officer. “As a National Partner, we celebrate diversity and openness to the world. “
The Eurovision Song Contest 2025 takes place from May 10 to May 17 in Basel. More than 160 million viewers worldwide are expected to follow the event under the motto United by Music.
