EuroAirport: New Head of Communications & Public Affairs

From September 9, 2024, Manuela Witzig, former Head of German Corporate Communications, will take over as Head of Communications and Public Affairs. She will take over this role from Managing Director Matthias Suhr, who has held the position on an interim basis since September 2020.

Manuela Witzig has around twenty years of experience in aviation and communications. She has spent the last two and a half years at EuroAirport as head of German corporate communications. Prior to that, Manuela Witzig was responsible for EuroAirport's environmental communications for several years. Before her time at EuroAirport, she worked for companies including Crossair, Swiss and Swissport and as a freelance journalist. 

Manuela Witzig has strong roots in the tri-national region and knows EuroAirport and the Airport's political environment very well.

In her new role, Manuela Witzig (born 1981) is responsible for the management of EuroAirport's Communications and Public Affairs and the associated team.
